Accessibility Statement

Aronia ORIGINAL Naturprodukte GmbH is committed to making its online shop accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG). This statement applies to the online shop at www.aronia-original.de.

Compliance status with requirements

The implementation is based on the requirements of EN 301 549 in conjunction with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This online shop is partially compliant with these requirements; deviations are listed in the following section.

This statement is based on a self-assessment: On 02.09.2026, nine representative pages of the shop — homepage, product page, recipe page, search, error page, as well as the T&Cs, Imprint, Revocation, and Contact/Complaints pages — were automatically tested with axe-core 4.13 (WCAG 2.0/2.1, Levels A and AA) and Lighthouse 12, supplemented by a check of the display on narrow screens (320 px). No "critical" level violations were found.

Non-accessible or partially accessible content

  • In legal texts (e.g., T&Cs), links in the body text are currently only distinguished by color. We will add additional marking.
  • On the search results page, some control elements do not yet meet the required contrast ratio of 4.5:1.
  • On some pages, heading levels do not follow consecutively, and there are duplicate page regions (landmarks). This affects screen reader navigation, not usability.
  • Older PDF documents (e.g., press downloads) may not be fully accessible. We will provide the content in an accessible format upon request.
  • Third-party components (e.g., cookie consent, rating widgets) are checked for accessibility during integration; we can only ensure limited accessibility for their content.
