These may not be 'classic' Christmas cookies, but don’t the cinnamon rolls look delicious?! Here’s Vera’s recipe, plus an aronia variation:

Ingredients

  • Filo- bzw. Yufka-Teig (gibt es z.B. im Kühlregal)
  • 120 g Butter (oder vegane Butter)
  • 150 g Rohrzucker
  • 1 TL gemahlenen Kardamom
  • 2 TL gemahlenen Zimt
  • 1 TL Kakao Pulver

Aronia ORIGINAL Variante: zusätzlich 2 TL Bio Aronia Pulver

    Preparation

    1. Filoteig-Blätter in Dreiecke teilen. Butter schmelzen lassen und Rohrzucker, Kardamom und Zimt hinzufügen. Aronia-Variante: Hinzu kommt noch 1 TL Bio Aronia Pulver.
    2. Diese Mischung pinselt man über die Dreiecke und rollt sie von der breiten zur spitzen Seite hin zusammen.
    3. Die Röllchen müssen nur kurz gebacken werden: etwa 10 min bei 200 Grad im vorgeheizten Backofen. Dann sind sie knusprig und lecker.
    4. Über die fertigen Röllchen Kakao und restliches Bio Aronia Pulver sieben.
    Note: Dazu empfehlen wir eine schöne Tasse Glühwein oder Tee. Hhhhmmmm…!
